Child Care Services
Child Care Services are provided to enable low income families, including recipients of TANF, to become employed, or prepare for employment through education and job training. Children may receive day care which enhances their development in day care centers, family day care homes, or in their own homes. Protective Services To Children (CPS)
Protective Services to Children (CPS) consist of the identification, receipt, and immediate investigation of complaints and reports of neglect and abuse of children under 18 years of age. Protective Services require an immediate response on a 24-hour basis to complaints received by investigation, assessment, and documentation as well as arranging and providing immediate and intensive services to the child, the family, and the alleged abuser. Family Services
Family Services are provided to individuals and their families to strengthen their relationships and their capacity to function independently. Court ordered home studies are done for the purpose of supplying the courts with information regarding the appropriateness of placements with persons seeking adoption, custody or visitation.
