Memorial Day Ceremony

MEMORIAL DAY CEREMONY

American Legion Post 128 in Stanardsville will be conducting their sixth annual "Walk of Honor"
Memorial Day ceremony at the Post building located at 636 Madison Road (Route 230) Stanardsville at
10:00 a.m. on Monday morning May 28, 2018.

Veterans will be recognized by the flying of the American Flag in their honor. The event includes the
reading of each sponsored veteran's name, offering of prayers, history, songs and the ceremony will end
with the playing of "Taps".

Light refreshments will be served immediately following the ceremony.

This event is free and open to the public. All are invited to attend to honor our veterans who have
served our country.
